TSPSC Assistant MVI 2024 Vacancy Details
The current job opening is for the position of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors within Multi-Zone, with opportunities available in both MZ-I and MZ-II regions. In total, there are 113 vacancies to be filled, with MZ-I having 54 openings and MZ-II having 59. Applicants for this role should be between the ages of 21 and 39 as of July 1, 2022. Successful candidates will be compensated with a salary scale ranging from Rs. 45,960 to Rs. 1,24,150.
TSPSC Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector 2024 Age Limit
Candidates applying for the TSPSC Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector 2024 must meet the age criteria. The minimum age requirement is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 39 years. Age is calculated as of 01/07/2022 in accordance with Rule-12(1)(a)(v) of State and Subordinate Service Rules. Furthermore, as per G.O.Ms.No.60, General Administration (Ser.A) Dept., Dt: 20/05/2022, the maximum age limit has been extended by an additional two (2) years. This is in addition to the previous extension of three (3) years mentioned in G.O.Ms.No.48, General Administration (Ser.A) Dept., Dt: 13/04/2022 for uniformed service, making a total extension of five (5) years.
To be eligible, candidates must not have been born after 01/07/2001 for the minimum age requirement and not before 02/07/1983 for the maximum age requirement. The upper age limit can be relaxed as per the rules outlined above. The following categories are eligible for age relaxation:
- Telangana State Government Employees (Excluding employees of TSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities, etc.): Up to 5 years based on length of regular service.
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years plus the length of service rendered in the armed forces.
- N.C.C. Instructors: 3 years plus the length of service rendered in the N.C.C.
- SC/ST/BCs & EWS: 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
TSPSC Assistant MVI Educational Qualification 2024
To be eligible for the position of TSPSC Assistant MVI, applicants must meet specific educational qualifications outlined in the relevant Service Rules by the Department. Candidates should hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering from a recognized University in India under a Central Act, Provincial Act, State Act, or institution accredited by the UGC.
Alternatively, a Diploma in Automobile Engineering (3 years course) from a Central or State Government-approved institution recognized by AICTE, New Delhi is acceptable. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicles (Transport Vehicles) Driving License. For women applicants with only a Light Motor Vehicle Driving License, they must obtain the Heavy Transport Vehicle Endorsement within two years of joining as Assistant Motor Vehicles Inspector to avoid termination of services.
