OROP 3 Revised Pension Table 2024 Notification
In a letter from the Defence Ministry, numbered 12(1)/2014/D(Pen/Pol)-Part-II and dated November 7, 2015, it was announced that the pensions for members of the Defence Forces will undergo recalibration every five years. The first adjustment under the OROP Pension Scheme was implemented on July 1, 2019, with the next update scheduled for July 1, 2024. For eligible pensioners of the Defence Forces and their families, pensions will be recalculated based on the average of the minimum and maximum pensions for personnel who retired in 2023, holding the same rank and service duration. Those whose pensions are above this average will have their amounts protected.
