TN TRB SGT Salary Structure 2024

The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has announced the salary details for Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) for the year 2024. The Scale of pay for SGTs ranges from Rs. 20600 to Rs. 75900, falling under Level 10 of the pay matrix. This salary structure ensures competitive compensation for teachers in the state, recognizing the valuable role they play in shaping the future through education.

TN TRB SGT Recruitment Age Limit 2024

In accordance with Government Order (M.s) No.185, School Education (Budget-1) Department dated 21.10.2023, the age criteria for TN TRB SGT applicants in 2024 are as follows: For direct recruitment, the upper age limit is set at 53 years for General Category candidates and 58 years for candidates from specified categories like Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class Muslims, Backward Classes, MBC/DNC, and DW of all castes as of July 1, 2024.

How To Apply for TN TRB SGT 2024?

• To apply for TN TRB SGT 2024, candidates must carefully follow the instructions outlined in the “How to Apply” section on the official Notification / TN TRB website. Application must be submitted online through the Teachers Recruitment Board website at https://www.trb.tn.gov.in. Only online applications will be accepted, and no other mode of application will be considered.
• Candidates are required to provide a valid email address and mobile number during registration, and the email address must remain active for future communications.
• When applying online, candidates must upload supporting documents to substantiate their claims. These documents will be verified during the Certificate Verification process, if the candidate is shortlisted.
• All information provided in the online application, such as candidate’s name, post applied for, communal reservation status, date of birth, and address, will be deemed final. Any necessary changes can be made before final submission, but modifications will not be allowed after submission.
• Incomplete or faulty applications will be rejected without further consideration, and no appeals will be entertained. Candidates should ensure accuracy and completeness while filling out the application form. Duplicate applications for the same subject will result in only the latest application being considered, provided it meets all requirements.

TN TRB SGT Recruitment Exam Fee 2024

Candidates need to pay an examination fee of Rs. 600, except for SC, SCA, ST, and differently abled persons who pay Rs. 300. Payment can only be made online through the Payment Gateway, and offline payments are not accepted. Service charges are applicable for online payments. Payment is non-refundable, and failure to pay on time will result in application rejection. Refunds are not given for overpayment.
