TNSTC Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Important Dates
TNSTC – Madurai Region, which includes areas like Madurai, Dindigul, and Virudhunagar, and TNSTC – Kumbakonam Region, encompassing Kumbakonam, Nagapattinam, Trichy, Karur, Karaikudi, and Pudukkottai, along with MTC in Chennai, are currently seeking applications from eligible individuals who hold a degree or diploma in Engineering. These candidates should have graduated between the years 2020 and 2023 and must be from Tamil Nadu. The purpose of this invitation is to provide an opportunity for these individuals to undergo one year of Apprenticeship training as per the regulations outlined in the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act of 1973.

TNSTC Apprentice Recruitment Monthly Salary 2024
The monthly stipend for Graduate Apprentices is set at Rs.9000, while Diploma (Technician) Apprentices receive Rs.8000. This financial support is provided to assist apprentices in their respective training programs and to help them cover their expenses while gaining valuable experience in their chosen field.
Apprentices Non-Engineering Graduates training slots are available for individuals who have graduated with non-engineering degrees. These training opportunities come with a monthly stipend of Rs.9000 for Graduate Apprentices.

TNSTC Apprentice Educational Qualification 2024
Category – I Graduate Apprentices:
- An Engineering or Technology degree (Full time) with First Class from a Statutory University in the relevant field.
- An Engineering or Technology degree (Full time) with First Class from an Institution authorized by an Act of Parliament to confer such degrees in the relevant field.
- Professional body graduate examinations recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent to the above.
Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- An Engineering or Technology Diploma (Full time) from a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by the State Government in the relevant field.
- An Engineering or Technology Diploma (Full time) from a University in the relevant field.
- An Engineering and Technology Diploma from an Institution acknowledged by the State or Central Government as equal to the above.
Category – III Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:
- A degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Humanities such as BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BCA, etc. (Full time) from a Statutory University/Deemed University in the relevant field – UGC approved.
TNSTC Apprentice Recruitment Age Limit 2024
The age limit for participation in the apprenticeship program will strictly adhere to the regulations set forth in the Apprenticeship Rules, ensuring that only individuals within the specified age range are eligible for enrollment and participation in the program.
TNSTC Apprentice Training Period 2024
The Apprenticeship training program will require a duration of one year, in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act of 1973. During this year-long training period, apprentices will engage in hands-on learning experiences and practical skill development under the guidance of experienced mentors and trainers in their chosen field of specialization.
Note: Candidates who have already completed or are presently engaged in an apprenticeship program as stipulated under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or possess one year or more of relevant work experience, are hereby informed that they are not eligible to submit an application for the position in question.
TNSTC Apprentice Recruitment Selection Process 2024
The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) has been assigned the responsibility of compiling a shortlist from the information provided in the online applications. Candidates will be selected for the shortlist based on their marks percentage in the relevant prescribed qualification for their respective fields. Those who make it to the shortlist will receive notification through their registered email address. Shortlisted individuals must then attend a Certificate Verification session at TNSTC, Trichy.

Travel expenses: Please note that transportation or daily allowance will not be provided for participation in the certificate verification process.
