Candidates who wish to apply are required to submit their applications exclusively through the online mode. No other methods of application submission will be acknowledged or considered. The online application submission portal will be made accessible on the BSF website at https://rectt.bsf.gov.in starting from 02.06.2024 at 00.01 AM, and it will remain open for submissions until 01.07.2024 at 23.59 PM.

BSF Group B and C Recruitment 2024 Application Fees

Applicants seeking to become SI (Master/Engine Driver) are required to submit an examination fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only), while those applying for HC (Master/Engine Driver/Workshop) & Constable (Crew) must pay Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only). These fees can be paid through multiple payment methods, including net banking of any bank, credit/debit cards from any bank, or by visiting the nearest Common Service Centre. Additionally, a service charge of Rs.47.20/- will be imposed by the Common Service Centre (CSC) on every candidate, regardless of exempted categories, ensuring a smooth and efficient payment process for all applicants.

BSF Group B and C Recruitment Salary Structure 2024

The salary structure for BSF Group B and C positions in 2024 offers competitive compensation packages. For the Sub-Inspector (Master) and (Engine Driver) roles, the salary ranges from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 at Level 6. Moving down to the Head Constable (Master), (Engine Driver), and (Workshop) positions, the salary falls in the range of Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 at Level 4. Lastly, for the Constable (Crew) position, the salary scale starts at Rs. 21,700 and goes up to Rs. 69,100 at Level 3. These salary ranges reflect the varying responsibilities and levels of experience required for each role within the BSF Group B and C categories.

BSF Group B and C Recruitment Age Limit 2024

Applicants interested in the BSF Group B and C positions must meet specific age requirements tailored to the different roles within the organization. For the roles of Sub-Inspector, Master, and Engine Driver, individuals must be between the ages of 22 and 28 years old. In contrast, candidates applying for the positions of Head Constable Master, Engine Driver, Workshop, and Constable Crew should be within the age range of 20 to 25 years. These age criteria are carefully established to ensure that candidates possess the necessary maturity and physical capabilities required to effectively carry out their duties within the organization.

BSF Group B and C Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification

For the position of SI (Master), candidates must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University, along with a 2nd class master certificate issued by the Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.

As for the role of SI (Engine Driver), the educational requirements include a 10+2 qualification or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University, paired with a 1st class engine driver certificate issued by the Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.

For the HC (Master) position, applicants should hold a Matriculation certificate from a recognized Board or equivalent, in addition to a Serang Certificate.

Likewise, candidates applying for the HC (Engine Driver) role must possess a Matriculation certificate from a recognized Board or equivalent, as well as a 2nd class Engine Driver certificate.

In the case of HC (Workshop), educational qualifications entail a Matriculation certificate from a recognized Board or equivalent; moreover, candidates must have completed an Industrial Training Institute Diploma in various disciplines such as Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine), Electrician, AC Technician, Electronics, Machinist, Carpentry & Plumbing for specific designations within the HC (Workshop) category.

For the post of Constable Crew, candidates are required to have completed Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent, possess at least one year of experience in operating a Boat below 265 HP, and demonstrate proficiency in swimming in deep water without any assistance.
