Period of NLC Apprenticeship Training 2024
During the NLC Apprenticeship Training in 2024, apprentices will undergo a comprehensive training program lasting for one year as mandated by the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act of 1973. This training will take place at the Barsingsar Project located in the picturesque state of Rajasthan, where apprentices will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in their chosen field.
Category of NLC Apprenticeship, Number of Training Slots & Stipend
IIT/Trade Apprentices are being sought for various fields and specialties, catering to a total of 86 training slots. The slots are distributed as follows: 30 for Electrician, 20 for Fitter, 12 for Welder, 8 for Horticulture, 6 for Wireman, 5 for Plumber, 3 for Refrigeration & Air Conditioner Technician, and 2 for Mechanic Motor Vehicle. The training period is set at one year, with apprentices receiving a monthly stipend of Rs. 10,019.
For individuals pursuing a Diploma or Technician Apprenticeship in various engineering disciplines, there are a total of 42 training slots available. This includes 3 slots for Fire & Safety Engineering, 15 slots each for Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, 2 slots for Civil Engineering, 5 slots for Mining Engineering, and 2 slots for Mine Surveying. The training period spans one year, providing apprentices with a comprehensive learning experience. During this time, apprentices will receive a stipend of 12524 per month to support their educational journey and practical training in their chosen field.
As part of our graduate (Engineering) apprenticeship program, we offer training slots in various engineering disciplines. We have 2 slots available for Chemical Engineering, 8 slots for Electrical Engineering, 10 slots for Mechanical Engineering, 4 slots for Civil Engineering, 2 slots for Fire & Safety Engineering, and 5 slots for Mining Engineering. The training period for these apprenticeships is set at one year, during which apprentices will receive a stipend of 15028 per month to support their learning and development in their respective fields.
Non-engineering graduates have the opportunity to participate in apprenticeship programs that cater to various fields, such as Business Administration (BBA) and Commerce (B. Com). There are limited training slots available for each discipline, with only two slots allocated for B. Com and another two for BBA. The training period spans a duration of one year, during which apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of 12524 to support their learning and development in the chosen field.
NLC Apprentice Minimum Education Qualification 2024
For aspiring applicants looking to join the NLC Apprentice program in 2024, the minimum education qualifications vary depending on the specific role they are interested in applying for. For Trade Apprentices, a prerequisite is to have successfully passed the ITI examinations (NCVT) of the respective trade from a government-recognized institute.
Those aspiring to become Technician (Diploma Holders) Apprentices should possess a full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized institution, state council, or board of technical education. Graduate (Engineering) Apprentices must hold a full-time degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in the relevant discipline.
On the other hand, individuals aiming to become Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices are required to hold a full-time B.Com or BBA degree from a recognized university. These educational qualifications serve as the foundation for individuals interested in embarking on a learning journey with NLC and gaining valuable experience in their chosen field.
NLC Apprentice Eligibility Requirements 2024
To be considered, applicants must meet the minimum age limit of 18 years, as stipulated by the Apprenticeship Act of 1961 under section 3(a). Additionally, candidates should not exceed the maximum age of 35 years.
Furthermore, eligible candidates must have successfully completed a qualifying examination in the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024. It is important to note that only candidates hailing from the state of Rajasthan are deemed eligible for this program.
Moreover, applicants should not have previously completed or be currently undergoing any form of apprenticeship training at NLC India Limited or any other institution. Additionally, candidates should not possess work experience of one year or more in any job role.
NLC Apprentice Recruitment Application Procedure 2024
The official online application portal can be accessed through www.nlcindia.in, specifically on the CAREER page under the Trainee & Apprentices tab listed under Advt.No.BP 01/2024. The portal will open for submissions from 10.00 Hours on 10.06.2024 until 17.00 Hours on 23.06.2024. Ensure to complete the registration cum application form and retain a printed copy for your records.
Submit the signed registration cum application form, accompanied by self-attested copies of required certificates, via postal mail to the address below by 30.06.2024: Project Head / Barsingsar Project, NLC India Limited, Administrative Building, Barsingsar, Bikaner (District), Rajasthan-334402. Alternatively, you may submit the documents at the collection box at Barsingsar Thermal Power Station (BTPS), (Gate No. 2), Barsingsar-334402, Bikaner, Rajasthan, before 5:00 pm on 30.06.2024.
