CBI Apprentice Recruitment Application Fee 2024

CBI Apprentice Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility criteria for the CBI Apprentice Recruitment in 2024 are as follows:
Candidates must meet one of the following conditions:
i) Be a citizen of India
ii) Be a citizen of Nepal
iii) Be a citizen of Bhutan
iv) Be a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in the country
v) Be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Candidates falling under categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
The cut-off date for meeting the eligibility criteria is March 31, 2024.
CBI Apprentice Recruitment Age Limit 2024
Candidates applying for CBI Apprentice Recruitment in 2024 must meet the age criteria of being born between 01.04.1996 and 31.03.2004 as per the cut-off date. Additionally, there are relaxations in the upper age limit for categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PWBD in accordance with the guidelines set by the Government of India.
The CBI Apprentice Recruitment extends age relaxation benefits to various categories as follows:
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe applicants receive a 5-year age relaxation.
- Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates are granted a 3-year age relaxation.
- Persons with disabilities are eligible for a 10-year age relaxation.
- Individuals affected by the 1984 riots can avail a 5-year age relaxation.
- Widows, divorced women, and women legally separated from their husbands, who have not remarried, are granted age concessions up to 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.
CBI Apprentice Educational Qualification 2024
To become a CBI Apprentice in 2024, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited university or possess equivalent qualifications acknowledged by the Central Government. It is required that candidates have obtained their graduation degree and possess the passing certificate after the 31st of March, 2020.
CBI Apprentice Registration Process 2024
To register for the CBI Apprentice Program in 2024, candidates must first create a profile on the apprenticeship portal at www.nats.education.gov.in. Only candidates with a fully completed profile on the portal are eligible to apply for the apprenticeship at the Bank. Please take note of the following:
Candidates can select only one Region when submitting their application, and allotment will depend on the Bank’s requirements and availability of positions. Applicants should not have previously undergone an apprenticeship with Central Bank of India or any other organization, nor should they be currently engaged in apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 or have terminated such training prematurely due to their own fault.
Candidates who have gained work experience of one year or more after completing their educational qualifications are not eligible to participate as apprentices. The Bank is not obligated to offer employment to apprentices upon completion of their training, and apprentices are not obliged to accept any job offer. Apprentices have no automatic entitlement to employment with the Bank after finishing their training, and the Bank is not required to provide regular employment to apprentices during or after the apprenticeship period.
CBI Apprentice Training Guidelines 2024
In the upcoming training session, apprentices will receive hands-on experience to develop their skills. They will have the privilege of enjoying the same holidays as the Bank’s employees. Each month of apprenticeship, apprentices will be granted one casual leave. No other leave types are applicable to apprentices, and they can only take a maximum of 4 casual leaves at a time. Any accrued leave will be forfeited upon contract completion or termination.
The training hours will align with the standard working hours of the Bank’s clerical staff. Overtime training is neither required nor permitted for apprentices. Should an apprentice sustain a personal injury during their training period, the Bank will be responsible for providing compensation as per the regulations outlined in the Workmen’s Compensation Act, 1923, with adjustments specified in the Apprentices Act, 1961 schedule.
