The Commission has made changes to the schedule for two upcoming examinations. The Selection Post Examination, Phase XII, 2024 will now be held on June 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, and 26th, 2024. The Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2024, Tier-I, will take place on July 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th, 2024. SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility requirements for the Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination in 2024 have been set by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, which is conducted to fill positions such as Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO). Eligibility Conditions:
Nationality/ Citizenship: To be eligible, a candidate must fall into one of the following categories:
(a) Citizen of India
(b) Subject of Nepal
(c) Subject of Bhutan
(d) Person of Indian origin who has relocated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

SSC CHSL Age Limit 2024
Applicants must fall within the age range of 18 to 27 years as of 01-08-2023. This means individuals born between 02-08-1997 and 01-08-2006 are eligible for application. Specific relaxations in the upper age limit for various categories are as follows: SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5 years, BC candidates have a relaxation of 3 years, PwBD (Unreserved) candidates are given a relaxation of 10 years, PwD (OBC) candidates have a relaxation of 13 years, PwD (SC/ST) candidates are granted a relaxation of 15 years.
Ex-Servicemen (ESM) receive a relaxation of 3 years after deducting military service from their actual age on the closing date, Central Government Civilian Employees with at least 3 years of continuous service by the closing date can apply up to the age of 40, while Central Government Civilian Employees (SC/ST) meeting the same service criteria can apply up to the age of 45. Widows, Divorced Women, and Women judicially separated who are not remarried can apply up to 35 years of age, and for those falling under the SC/ST category, the age limit is extended to 40 years.
Additionally, Defence Personnel disabled during hostilities with a foreign country or in a disturbed area and subsequently released due to this disability have a relaxation of 3 years, which is extended to 8 years for those belonging to the SC/ST category.
SSC CHSL 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for SSC CHSL 2024 involves three stages that candidates must go through to be considered for the available positions. These stages include:
