Gazetted Holidays List 2025

The Central Government Office has officially announced the Gazetted Holidays list for the year 2025. These holidays are essential dates designated for central government offices and various industrial establishments. Every June, the Central Government unveils a detailed holiday calendar for the upcoming year. This calendar is circulated through an official office memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), categorizing Gazetted Holidays and Restricted Holidays separately. The primary list includes 14 mandatory holidays, whereas the subsequent list permits individuals to choose three holidays from the initial 14, resulting in a total of 17 days off. These 17 days collectively form the Gazetted Holidays recognized for employees of the Central government.
