HPCL Recruitment Shortlisting & Selection Process 2024
The 2024 HPCL Recruitment process involves a series of assessment tools for shortlisting and selection. These methods include Computer Based Test, Group Task, and Personal Interview, tailored to the specific job requirements. All candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will participate in the Computer Based Test, featuring two parts: General Aptitude (comprising English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Intellectual Potential) and Technical/Professional Knowledge.
Successful candidates from the Computer Based Test will be requested to submit supporting documents for certain positions. Following application scrutiny and merit-based ranking, shortlisted candidates will progress to Group Task and/or Personal Interview stages. It is essential for candidates to achieve minimum qualifying marks in each stage to advance in the selection process.
Finally, a merit list will be created based on category and discipline for those who successfully complete all stages, including Computer Based Test, Group Task, and Personal Interview. The selection process may also include Work Experience evaluation, and the final appointment offers will align with the available vacancies by category and discipline.

Application Process for HPCL Recruitment 2024
The HPCL Recruitment 2024 is now open for applications. Interested candidates can submit their online applications starting from 5th June 2024 at 0900 hrs until 30th June 2024 at 2359 hrs. Application Fee for HPCL Recruitment 2024
To apply for positions in the HPCL Recruitment 2024, an application fee is mandatory for all applicants. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD categories are exempt from this fee requirement. On the other hand, candidates falling under UR, OBCNC, and EWS categories are obligated to pay a Non-Refundable Amount of Rs.1180/- along with applicable payment gateway charges (inclusive of an application fee of Rs.1000/- plus GST@18% amounting to ₹180/- and relevant payment gateway charges).
Payment can be made via Debit/Credit card, UPI, or Net Banking. Upon successful online payment of the application fee, the payment status will automatically update to “Your Transaction is successfully completed.” It is essential for all candidates to verify that the payment status reflects as “Completed” to avoid any transactional discrepancies. Subsequently, candidates are instructed to print and retain the acknowledgment of payment for future reference.
