HSRP Number Plate Rajasthan 2024: In a bid to bolster vehicle safety and strengthen traffic regulation enforcement, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India, has introduced a new mandate through notification GSR 1162(E) on 4th Dec 2018, and SO 6052 on 6th Dec 2018.
This directive requires the adoption of High-Security Registration Plates (HSRP) along with color-coded stickers. In line with this nationwide endeavor, the State Government of Rajasthan has issued order no. 21063 on 21st Sep 2023, delineating the procedural guidelines for affixing HSRP and color-coded stickers on vehicles registered before 01-04-2019. The execution of this initiative falls under the purview of the Transport and Road Safety Department in Rajasthan, tasked with ensuring adherence to these regulations to elevate vehicle security standards and enhance traffic safety throughout the state.

HSRP Number Plate Rajasthan 2024: Fitment Procedure
The installation process of High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) comprises several essential elements. To begin with, the fitting involves the attachment of the HSRP itself, which is a specialized license plate designed to prevent tampering and equipped with multiple security attributes. These features encompass a hologram made of chromium and a distinctive identification number engraved by laser. The HSRP is securely fastened onto the vehicle using snap locks that cannot be removed or reused. Moreover, the HSRP installation also entails the positioning of an additional registration plate in the shape of color-coded decals.
These self-destructing hologram stickers, based on chromium, are positioned on the interior side of the vehicle’s windshield at the left-hand corner. The color backgrounds of these stickers differ based on the type of fuel utilized by the vehicle. For instance, diesel vehicles display stickers with an orange backdrop, while petrol and CNG vehicles exhibit light blue backgrounds, and vehicles utilizing alternative fuels feature grey backgrounds. Additionally, the third registration plate incorporates a 1 cm green stripe as an indication of compliance with the mandatory regulations.
HSRP Number Plate Rajasthan 2024: Last Date
Vehicle owners in Rajasthan with registration dates preceding April 1, 2019, are required to promptly install the High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP) on their vehicles. The installation deadlines are determined by the last numerical digit of the registration number. Vehicles with registration numbers ending in 1 or 2 must have their HSRP fixed by February 29, 2024.
Those ending in 3 or 4 have until March 31, 2024, to comply. Vehicles ending in 5 or 6 have until April 30, 2024, while those ending in 7 or 8 must do so by May 31, 2024. For vehicles with registration numbers ending in 9 or 0, the deadline is June 30, 2024. It is crucial for vehicle owners to adhere to these deadlines to ensure conformity with the HSRP regulations.

The High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP) numbers for vehicles in Rajasthan for the year 2024 have been updated with the rate list. The rates, inclusive of GST, fitment, and convenience charges, are as follows:

- Three-Wheelers fall under the category of Rs 470.00.
- Four-Wheelers, specifically Light Motor Vehicles (LMV), have a maximum rate of Rs 695.00.

- Tractors and Agriculture Equipments are categorized at Rs 495.00.
