Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Qualification 2024
Navik (General Duty) position requires candidates to have completed their 12th grade with Mathematics and Physics from a board of education that is accredited by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Yantrik must have completed the 10th grade from an education board accredited by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and obtained a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering for a duration of either 3 or 4 years approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Alternatively, the individual should have passed both the 10th and 12th grades from a recognized education board by COBSE “AND” acquired a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering for a duration of 2 or 3 years approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Age Limit 2024
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and no more than 22 years old to be eligible for the positions of Navik (GD) and Yantrik. Candidates should have been born between March 01, 2003, and February 28, 2007, inclusive of both dates. It is important to note that a maximum age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates is applicable only if the posts are specifically reserved for these categories.

Indian Coast Guard Navik & Yantrik Salary Structure 2024
Navik (General Duty) candidates are offered a starting salary of Rs. 21,700 per month at Pay Level 3, along with Dearness Allowance and additional allowances dependent on the specific duties and location of assignment in accordance with current regulations.
Yantrik candidates, on the other hand, receive a basic monthly salary of Rs. 29,200 at Pay Level 5, complemented by Yantrik pay amounting to Rs. 6,200, in addition to Dearness Allowance and other applicable allowances determined by the nature of duty and posting location under the prevailing guidelines.
