NSE Holidays List 2024 – List of NSE Trading Holidays in India
India’s leading stock market, the National Stock Exchange (NSE), proudly stands as the country’s largest trading platform. It has earned a prominent position on the global stage, ranking as the 10th largest exchange in the world with a substantial market capitalization surpassing US$ 3.4 trillion.
The NSE operates with remarkable efficiency, providing seamless trading services year-round. Regular trading hours stretch from 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays, giving traders a generous 6-hour and 15-minute timeframe to execute their transactions. It’s worth noting that trading is paused on Saturdays and Sundays, offering a much-needed break from the hustle of the markets.
In addition to the regular weekend closure, the NSE also observes holidays in line with national and cultural festivities. For the year 2024, the exchange will be closed on several important occasions, creating opportunities for reflection and celebration within the trading community.
