To be eligible for the position of a Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentice, candidates must fulfill specific educational criteria: They should possess a Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a State Council or Board of Technical Education set up by a State Government, obtained through a full-time program. Alternatively, a Diploma in Engineering or Technology awarded by a University in the pertinent field on a full-time basis is acceptable. Additionally, a Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an institution recognized by either the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to these qualifications is also valid.
