TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Salary Structure 2024

For the position of Assistant Surgeon in Tamil Nadu Medical Services, the salary structure for Level-22 ranges from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500. This salary scale reflects the pay scale designated for the year 2024, providing a competitive compensation package for individuals in the medical field.

TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Recruitment Age Limit 2024

Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Castes (Arunthathiyars) (SC(A)s), Scheduled Tribes (STs), Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities (MBC&DNCs), Backward Classes (BCs), and Backward Class Muslims (BCMs) (including Ex-Servicemen belonging to these communities) have an age limit of 59 Years as on 01.07.2024. Candidates falling under the category of “Others” have an age limit of 37 Years as on 01.07.2024, while differently-abled candidates under this category have an age limit of 47 Years as on 01.07.2024. Ex-Servicemen belonging to the “Others” category have an age limit of 50 Years as on 01.07.2024.

TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Educational Qualification 2024

Applicants are required to hold a qualification equivalent to the one granted by a University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission and endorsed by the Medical Council of India. For the role of Assistant Surgeon (General), candidates should have an MBBS Degree and meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a licensed practitioner as per the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.
  • Should have completed a minimum of twelve months as a House Surgeon (CRRI).
  • Must have their name enlisted in the Tamil Nadu Medical Council on or before the deadline of this Notification (15.05.2024).
  • If a candidate asserts that their educational qualification is equivalent, albeit not identical to the prescribed qualifications, the burden of proof lies with the candidate.

TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Recruitment Exam Fee 2024

The examination fee for the TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Recruitment is set at Rs. 500/- for SC/SCA/ST/DAP(PH) candidates and Rs. 1000/- for all others. Once an online application is submitted and finalized, it cannot be withdrawn, and the fee paid during registration will not be refunded or modified under any circumstances.

TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Exam Hall Ticket 2024

Eligible candidates can access their Hall Tickets on the Board’s official website, www.mrb.tn.gov.in, for download. Please note that Hall Tickets will not be dispatched via postal mail. Candidates will receive a notification through email or SMS on their registered email ID or mobile number regarding the availability of the hall ticket for download.
